EPISODE SUMMARY:
As all of us know, as we age, our bodies begin to change. Whether these changes are emotional, mental or physical, it’s important that we listen to our bodies and learn how to properly take care of ourselves in different stages of life. When it comes to nutrition, eating foods that keep our bodies strong and healthy is vital. Every body is different; we don’t all handle certain foods the exact same way. Finding out what foods work for your body while still getting to enjoy what you’re eating can be a challenge for a lot of us. Nutritionist Caroline Keatinge understands that this can be a challenge and uses her work to help midlife and menopausal women find balance and create dietary habits that work well with our individual bodies and needs. Her expertise has helped women with diet, sleep, managing menopause symptoms, and so much more. In today’s episode, we sat down with Caroline to discuss blood sugar levels, how to moderate sugar intake in midlife, regulating your Insulin levels, and how low blood sugar levels can mimic menopausal symptoms.
