EPISODE SUMMARY:

Midlife comes with its own set of challenges and stressors. Without a proper outlet to cope with and release that stress, we can find ourselves drowning in all of the physical and mental changes. Jacqueline, a midlife mother of five, has found a holistic to cope with menopause and midlife: yoga. Through her teachings of Yoga Nashit, Jacqueline helps menopausal women through the challenges of menopause by showing them the importance of yoga and women’s health. Through mind and body connection, meditation, and learning proper ways to breathe and focus, yoga can help calm our minds and act as a healthy outlet for anxiety. In today’s episode, we speak to Jacqueline about Yoga Nashit, the connection between yoga and women’s health, the benefits of yoga and treating menopause symptoms, and the best yoga poses for relieving menopause-related issues. 

Jacqueline Gray Rose

As a mother of five, Jacqueline Rose understands all too well the struggles of balancing life, children, and career. The stresses of life can often feel overwhelming, and it wasn’t until Jacqueline found Yoga Nashit, Yoga for Women’s Health, that she began understanding how to become more mindful and how to deal with her anxiety. Through her studies, teaching and research, Jacqueline developed a deeper connection to her body. In 2014, she qualified as a Yoga for Pregnancy Instructor at the Wingate Institute. In 2017, she qualified to be a Yoga Nashit Instructor with the founder of Yoga Nashit, Mira Atzi-Padan, and in 2019, she qualified as a Therapeutic Yoga Instructor at Campus Broshim School of Integrative Medicine, Tel Aviv University. With all of her experience, she now uses this knowledge to help others, specifically women in menopause. Using a holistic health approach and Yoga Nashit, Jacqueline guides women through menopause and help ease the overwhelming mental and physical changes that come with it.
